About Thérèse
Thérèse Willis is a singer-songwriter from Adelaide South Australia.
She relocated to Los Angeles, in 1992, where she worked as a session singer and recording artist.
Thérèse performed with artists and producers such as Hans Zimmer, RuPaul, Taylor Dane, Rufus Wainwright, The Crystal Method, Dave Aude, Oasis, The Eels and more.
She recorded dance records under the pseudonym Sugar and Gypsy Queens scoring top 10 Billboard Dance hits in the 1990’s for dance labels, Strictly Rhythm and Moonshine Records respectively.
Her music and voice have been featured on movies, television and radio in the US and Australia.
Thérèse returned to South Australia several years ago and in 2023 returned to the studio to record a solo album with producer and songwriter Terry Bradford. Both having recorded three albums with the critically acclaimed band ‘Those Kodiaks’.
This collection titled ‘Miles Away’ is due for release late 2023 with live dates to follow.
